The International Educator (TIE) provides a platform that brings together the diverse voices, experiences, and knowledge of the international school community. TIE is committed to a solution-oriented approach to sharing the perspectives of international educators who are working towards the advancement of education and student learning in an environment where individuals can find a sense of belonging. The intent is to share stories, case studies, resources, and insights written by international educators that serve as a provocation and inspiration for educators and institutions to reflect, learn, and take action without maligning individuals, communities, or organizations. All submissions go through an editorial process including but not limited to editing, formatting, potential revisions, and review by TIE's Editorial Committee. However, as a community sourced newsletter, authors are responsible for sourcing the facts and information provided in their articles. If individuals and organizations are referenced, TIE asks that authors make them aware that their names will appear in a global publication. The articles presented in TIE are a reflection of the variety of perspectives within the international school community and do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of the organization. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly prevalent in writing and article submissions. TIE values the contributions AI can make to supporting authors by organizing information, refining ideas, and editing content. However, TIE's mission to amplify the voices of international educators lies in the unique perspectives and experiences of individuals. AI should be used as a support tool and not a co-author for TIE submissions. As with any other source, authors are expected to reference the AI software used and source AI completed tasks within the text. For more information please see the TIE AI Guidelines.
