In this Pearl, Chris reflects on the importance of embracing uncertainty and recognizing that many leadership decisions do not have clear-cut answers. “Some of what we do is gray and will require flexibility in how I approach my work,” he explains. Rather than becoming frustrated by ambiguity, leaders can remain open to pivoting when unexpected challenges arise and seek collaborative solutions when decisions require multiple perspectives. For Chris, embracing the gray means accepting that flexibility, compromise, and responsiveness are essential parts of leadership.
