The Principals’ Training Center (PTC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Sue Easton as the new Director of Programs commencing September 2022. Sue will lead the design, renewal and implementation for the programs for principals, counselors, and teacher leaders.
In the rapidly changing landscape of professional learning, Sue’s experience and expertise are precisely what we at the PTC need to continue to serve international educators and to take us forward.
Sue has a wealth of experience as a pedagogical leader in international schools including 13 years in international schools in Spain, Malaysia, and Brazil. She is currently the Assistant Head of Wellbeing, Service and Global Learning at Ridley College in Canada, an independent school with students from 61 countries.
She is certainly no stranger to the PTC. She has been a long-time expert facilitator for PTC courses for both principals and teachers. We were also fortunate to have her on our staff as Director of the Teacher Training Center (TTC) and the Counselor Training Center (CTC) from 2016-2019.
She has a Masters degree in International Education Administration, Principals’ Qualifications from the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education, and certificates in Applied Positive Psychology, Positive Education, and Adult Education.
We know Sue has a passion for learning, deeply understands the nature of how we, as adults, learn and maintains a relentless focus on student learning. All are vital ingredients to keep the the PTC true to its mission: Quality learning for international educators.
