Concordia International School Shanghai Hosts 6th Annual Big Data and Analytics EdCon & 2018 Watson Analytics Global Competition

Shanghai, PRC, February 26, 2018- The Big Data and Analytics Education Conference (6th BDA EdCon) at Concordia will bring together academics, educators and industry partners to exchange knowledge and ideas to better prepare students for the work force. This is an opportunity for educators to explore how big data can be implemented into their teaching curriculum to meet industry demand. It is also a channel for industry partners to provide input for their needs to educational institutions. The 6th BDA EdCon solicits papers and abstract presentations on the development and experience with educational programs in all areas of Analytics, Data Visualisation, Big Data, and Data Science. Educational programs can be undergraduate, postgraduate, in-employment or high school, and can focus on education and/or training. Both abstracts (200-500 words) and papers (between 2000-7000 words) will be accepted. At the conference, 20-40 minutes of presentation time will be allocated for all accepted abstracts and papers. Submission procedures can be found at https://www.bigdatak12.org/submission-process/ . Three "Best Paper Awards" will be given to outstanding papers in the field of Analytics Education. Accepted papers (those between 5000-7000 words) will be considered for a special issue publication in International Journal of Business Intelligence Research.
