At TIS, 240 students participated in the mathematics event. This is the third year TIS has taken part. Worldwide, almost three million mathematics problems were solved by students across the globe during the 2012 one-day competition.
The top scoring classes at TIS were Grade 7, taught by Shalini Mehan; Grade 2, taught by Nicholas Campbell; and Grade 2, taught by Jeanette Coffren.
Tashkent International School, an International Baccalaureate World School, has more than 440 students from 43 countries in preschool through Grade 12. TIS is the only school in Uzbekistan authorized to offer all three IB programs. l

I am so proud to hear about these wonderful achievements at TIS, the school where I started working in 2002. TIS is definitely one of the best schools in Central Asia!
Wishing the best to TIS!
