In the world of international education, change is not only inevitable, but also a source of growth and new experiences. We are always learning to embrace new ideas, new challenges, new cultures, and new endeavors. It is with this mindset that The International Educator (TIE) is excited to share that our Editor, Shwetangna Chakrabarty, has accepted a new position as the Senior Curriculum Manager for the Middle Years Programme with the International Baccalaureate Organization. While we are sad to see her step away from her role at TIE, we are equally thrilled for the opportunities that lie ahead for her.
Shwetangna has been instrumental in bringing important content to our community and steering the vision of our newsletter. Her friendship, support, and perspective will be missed in the day-to-day of our work. However, she will continue to share her insights and expertise as a regular contributor and blogger. We look forward to exploring what this continued relationship will bring.
Her editorial responsibilities will be assumed by our TIE team, with Content Editor Courtney Primus taking the helm and Director Stacy Stephens and the Editorial Committee driving outreach and content development.
Shwetangna will be greatly missed at TIE. We deeply appreciate her dedication and all the contributions she’s made to our organization during her time with us. Onward to new and exciting things - best of luck Shwetangna!
