Marymount International School, Paris Mourns the Passing of Johanna Bambridge

By David Newman and Catherine Patten
07-Jul-17

Dear Friends,
It is with heavy hearts, that the Board of Trustees reports the passing of our Head of School, Johanna Bambridge, who died in the early hours of Thursday morning, following unexpected health complications whilst travelling with her husband, John.
At this time, our hearts and prayers are with the Bambridge family as they begin to cope with this tragic news.
The Marymount International School, Paris community along with the entire Global Network of RSHM Schools mourns the untimely loss of a dedicated leader, inspiring educator, and dear friend who invested so much passion for life-long learning into the development of our school.
The Board of Trustees is working with the Senior Leadership Team to support and guide our community at this time, and maintain the full functioning of the school over the summer and as we enter a new school year in September. In September we will hold an official memorial service at Marymount in Neuilly for the whole community.
In the meantime, the family has requested that any expressions of condolences be sent directly to the school rather than to the Bambridge residence. For all other inquiries, please contact Kathleen Elliott: [email protected]
We thank you for your supporting our school community at this time, and know that you will join us in prayer for Johanna and her family.
Sincerely,
David Newman
Chairman, Board of Trustees
Sr. Catherine Patten
Membre de Droit, Board of Trustees
RSHM Provincial Superior, Eastern American Province
