COHP Director Assures All Children Are Safe after Hurricane
By Dominique Pierre 05-Oct-16
Dominique Pierre, Director of the Children of Haiti project (COHP), reassured Forrest Broman today, that despite some damage, the hurricane that just tore through Haiti and other Caribbean nations had spared the school. "The children are well. Every single one accountable. We have a special feeding program for the day since most of the homes are inundated. We are cleaning up. All school and boarding activities will resume tomorrow morning. Most of the other schools will remain close until further notice from the Ministry of Education. The roads are inaccessible and food becomes scarce, as expected." - Dominique Pierre
