SAS and ISB Collaborate to Host Upcoming Asian Schools Institute for Safety & Security (ASISS) Conference

Singapore American School is collaborating with the International School of Beijing to bring together international school security professionals to learn from the best safety and security practitioners in the region. Specifically, the inaugural Asian Schools Institute for Safety & Security (ASISS) Conference aims to bring together schools in Asia, focusing on key aspects of school safety and security including mitigating risks and layering safety and security measures effectively in today’s challenging school environment. This conference will provide a forum for practicing regional presenters to share best practices and offer unique professional development opportunities for school security practitioners. We will promote and reinforce best practices in campus safety and security by sharing resources, technical knowledge, and good general practice of schools in Asia. We also plan to establish and develop a collegial network for continual collaboration amongst schools security administrator, ultimately improving safety and security benchmark for our students, staff, and community.
