Nakornpayap International School is pleased to welcome Chris Cronin as the new K–12 Assistant Principal, beginning in August 2026. Chris is an international educator who has lived and worked in Myanmar, Tunisia, China, Thailand, and the United Kingdom, experiences that have shaped his belief in inclusive, diverse, and student-centered school communities.

Chris currently serves as the Director of Athletics and Activities at Yangon International School, where he has enjoyed building programs that bring students together, promote school spirit, and encourage growth through sport, leadership, and teamwork. He is passionate about developing opportunities that help students discover who they are both in and beyond the classroom.

Chris is also working toward completion of the Principals Training Center (PTC) certification and contributes to school improvement efforts as a WASC Visiting Committee member. He values strong relationships, collaboration, and fostering a supportive school environment where every child feels seen, challenged, and cared for.

Chris is excited to join the NIS community and looks forward to working alongside senior leadership, teachers, and staff to continue strengthening learning across all grade levels.
