As part of ongoing strategic planning and school improvement, Allen McInnis has joined GEMS AKNS in the capacity of High School Assistant Principal focusing on Teaching and Learning.

Allen McInnis is an experienced educator, curriculum writer, and school leader. Allen has worked in schools in Canada, Qatar, and the UAE. He holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and Curriculum and Instruction, has obtained international principal certification and has held leadership positions in both primary and secondary schools. He has acted as Team Leader, MYP Coordinator, Coordinator of Mathematics and Assessment Lead and whole-school Curriculum Coordinator. Allen holds Master’s Degrees in Leadership as well as Curriculum and Instruction.
