Robert Rinaldo

The American International School of Jeddah is pleased to announce that Mr. Robert Rinaldo has been appointed as the new Superintendent beginning in August 2025.

In his past leadership roles, Mr. Rinaldo has served as Head of School at GEMS American Academy in Abu Dhabi from 2020-2025, General Director at the Lincoln School in Costa Rica from 2013 to 2020, during which time he served as a Board Member for the Association of American Schools of Central America. Prior to this, Mr. Rinaldo held the position of Head of School at the International School of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and the Middle School Principal at the American School of Tegucigalpa, Honduras from 2000 to 2009.

Mr. Rinaldo holds a B.A. in Secondary Social Studies Education from The State University of New York (SUNY), Cortland, New York, an M.A. in History from SUNY, Cortland, New York, and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He was also a participant in the Klingenstein Fellowship program at Columbia University, Teachers College,New York.
