In this Pearl, Jennifer shares a personal story about how adopting the mindset of "always assume positive intent" transformed her professional relationships. She recounts a challenging experience with a colleague who initially appeared difficult to work with and caused tension within the team. Despite her frustration, Jennifer sought advice from a coach, who encouraged her to view the situation from the other person's perspective. This shift in mindset allowed Jennifer to approach the situation more calmly and positively, ultimately improving her working relationship and the team's dynamics. Jennifer emphasizes that while it's important to acknowledge and process negative emotions, responding with positivity and assuming good intentions can lead to more productive and harmonious interactions, regardless of the other person's intent.
