In this Pearl, Chris shares his experience learning that “knowledge is power” when we share that knowledge with our schools and teams. When the leadership team at his school began to use transparency in communication, teachers felt ownership over initiatives, the community felt more inclusive and engaged, and everyone felt better prepared to contribute and collaborate. He says, “Pull back the curtain, share more with your staff, engage them early in all processes and this will really foster a community of trust and collaboration.”
