For her 10th grade personal project, she conducted interviews and wrote poetry related to the five most common mental health issues in Mongolia: alcohol abuse, anxiety disorder, bipolar disorders, depression, and schizophrenia. Nitika’s book of poetry, The Unheard Voices of Mongolia, was published by Best Color International (Ulaanbaatar) in December 2013.
