In this Pearl, Stacey reminds us of “the transformative power of leading by example.” She says that we all have the capacity to inspire others to create a positive, supportive environment, whether in an official leadership position or not. We need to open our doors to welcome others in, seek out opportunities for interaction and understanding, be proactive, and ask for and offer help to create a ripple effect that permeates the entire community. She says, “Leadership is a collective effort. Every individual has the potential to make a meaningful impact. All we have to do is lead by example.”
