Professional Learning at the PTC- in Full Bloom!

What are nearly one thousand international school educators representing 74 nationalities doing as you are reading this?

They are zooming in from 386 international schools, from every time zone around the world at the Principals’ Training Center Virtual Institutes and experiencing an intentionally intense and focused professional learning opportunity.

Principals and aspiring principals are grappling with the complex issues of what is an effective international school and how do we best lead them to ensure the best possible learning for all students with a strong focus on DEIJ.

Teachers and teacher leaders are refining their curriculum, assessment and coaching, and supervision leadership skills.  Some are learning about leadership for the first time. And some are advancing their skills for language teaching in diverse classrooms.

Counselors are digging into the essentials of getting started as a counselor, the critical knowledge and skills needed to support mental health, cultural diversity, positive solutions and, for some, university bound students.

The Principals’ Training Center Virtual Program began on 19 June and continues through 22 July.  Stay tuned.  More to come.
