Lincoln High School Student Council makes origami cranes to raise money for Japan (photo:Lincoln School Nepal) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Student Councils, along with the parent community at Lincoln School, worked together on a number of fundraising events to raise money for Japan. The Elementary School Student Council sponsored a bake sale during the Lower Elementary play and took in $100 that was presented to some of our Japanese parents during our Fabulous Friday. The High School Student Council organized a crane origami-making session during lunch to raise awareness of Japan’s plight and earned another $125 for the cause. The Middle School Student Council plans to join forces with the Japanese school in Kathmandu to hold a city-wide raffle to assist with the reconstruction efforts in Japan.
