The Children of Haiti Project (COHP), is a non- profit initiative supported by international schools and agencies. It opened on 3 May and is providing schooling, two meals a day, and medical attention for 51 four and five years olds. Creole is the language of instruction. Our immediate need is for volunteer teachers who:
can speak Creole or French
can come to Haiti to teach without pay but with some help with housing and transport
are able to teach 4-6 year olds
We can consider volunteers for:
1-2 months this summer
part of the 2010-2011 academic year
the full 2010-2011 academic year.
