The week of May 4-8, 2015 is Teacher Appreciation Week and Tuesday May 5, is the U.S. National Teacher Day. It is a time for students and parents to show their appreciation and support of their teachers. We know we owe a world of debt and gratitude to teachers who have enriched our lives, our children’s lives, and those of students all over the world.
At TIE, we are especially thankful to teachers because they are the backbone of what we do. We know that teachers go above and beyond what could ever fit into a job description and that their days extend far beyond when the school doors close.
“Teachers are the core of everything we do here at TIE, and we cannot thank them enough for their dedication, service and the professionalism they bring to their jobs each and every day,” said TIE founder and CEO, Forrest Broman.
As part of the week’s celebrations make sure to share a photo of a teacher who impacted your life and use the hashtag ?#?ThankATeacher?? on Twitter and Instagram.
