Hannah Hartman

Thai Chinese International School:  Lower School Principal

Hannah Hartman is the new Lower School Principal at the Thai Chinese International School for the 2015-2016 school year. Hannah comes from Portland, Oregon and has a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a Masters in Education from Portland State University. She also has a Masters in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University. In addition, she has completed the Principals' Training Center for International School Leadership and has a certificate of international school leadership. Hannah has been working in education overseas for 10 years. She has worked at TASIS England, Shanghai American School, American School of Warsaw, and most recently the American International School of Abuja. Hannah has held various leadership positions in all her schools including coaching and training teachers for reading and writing workshop, developing technology programs, leading orientations, creating mentor groups, and facilitating professional learning communities. She has been a part of creating new standards based report cards, implementing teacher evaluation systems, developing assessment handbooks, and using MAP data for data based decision making. Hannah has also been trained and worked on an accreditation team for CIS. She has presented at the BETT show in London, Learning 2.0 in Shanghai, and the CEESA teachers conference in Warsaw on the topics of integrating technology and differentiation.
