ISG is pleased to announce the appointment of ISG’s new Assistant Superintendent, Mrs. Michelle Alzamora, effective August 1, 2026. With a wealth of experience in international education dating back to 1999, Michelle possesses a deep understanding of the unique opportunities and strengths inherent in global learning communities. Her beliefs align with our school's mission to inspire innovation and compassionate action. Michelle has served as an elementary school principal in two distinct international school settings, including one within the region. This experience is complemented by her tenure as Director of Teaching and Learning for a system comprising of four schools. Michelle highly values the strong sense of family and belonging that often characterizes international school communities. She approaches her work with a systems-level perspective, understanding the interconnectedness of all aspects of a school organization. Furthermore, she brings a strong background in supporting the professional growth of both individuals and organizations, with a particular focus on building efficacy through targeted professional development and instructional coaching. Accompanying Michelle to ISG is her husband, Eddie Alzamora, a dedicated middle school teacher. Their two children, Audrey and Enzo, will be pursuing their studies at the university level and are excited to visit on their breaks. The entire family is looking forward to becoming an integral part of the International Schools Group community. We look forward to welcoming Michelle and her family to the ISG community.
