Endicott College Opens First Summer Graduate Study Center in Asia

By Richard Pacheco
18-Feb-14

Following the success of its summer International Programs graduate study centers in Spain, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic, Endicott College is pleased to announce the inauguration of its new center in Bangkok, Thailand in July 2014, kindly hosted by Bangkok Preparatory and Secondary School (in collaboration with Dhurakij Pundit University).
In the first year, Endicott will offer two of its M.Ed. in International Education Programs at the new Bangkok center: M.Ed. in International Education and M.Ed. in International Education Administration. Further programs will be offered at a later date. Participants complete the degrees through a blended approach of summer and online courses; the flexible program of studies allows them to study over an extended period of time to meet their personal needs.
“The Endicott M.Ed. Programs are highly successful in our European locations,” said Richard Pacheco, Dean of Endicott College Madrid. “Over the last few years, we have received increased interest in our programs from international school educators in Asia. “Our new center in Bangkok will address the needs of those who prefer not to travel to Europe for professional development, as well as attract students from further afield, who may wish to combine their studies with a vacation in South East Asia.”
“Endicott College has literally changed my life” said Daniel Kerr, Middle School Principal, Shanghai Community International School. “What I learned through this program has been immeasurable with regards to leadership, educational best practice and pedagogical research, networking, relationship building, curriculum, and how to positively affect student learning.”
Registration is now open for the 2014 summer courses in Bangkok. Endicott College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC); its main campus is located in Beverly, Massachusetts (USA).
