PTC Heads Back to Rome on Its 30th Anniversary

By Gary Worth
12-Oct-17

The Principals’ Training Center (PTC) is going back to its roots. The 2018 PTC Summer Institutes will be held in the very city where the organization held its inaugural event 30 years ago. It was at Marymount International School in Rome, Italy that 35 “pioneer” principals gathered in the summer of 1989.
The first ever, seven-day summer institute was placed in the capable hands of trainers Bill Gerritz (most recently Head of IS Bangkok), Pat Wolfe (well-known author on the brain and learning), PTC founder Forrest Broman, and Director Bambi Betts.
And there was no turning back. As PTC celebrates its 30th year, it has grown to offer 28 courses for practicing and aspiring international school principals.
