Jon Hill joins the International School of Beijing as Middle School Principal. Originally from the United States, Jon moved to Beijing from Seoul, South Korea where he was Middle School Assistant Principal at Seoul Foreign School. Prior to becoming Assistant Principal, Jon was the Middle School Technology Coordinator (2007-2010) and 7th Grade Science and Mathematics Teacher (2004-2007). Before moving to South Korea, Jon was a 6th Grade Science and Mathematics Teacher at the International School of Port-of-Spain in Trinidad and Tobago (2002-2004); a High School Science Teacher (IGCSE, IBMYP, IBDP) at the International School of Tanganyika in Tanzania (1999-2002); and a 9th and 10th Grade Science Teacher in South Umpqua High School, Oregon (1995-1996). His educational credentials include Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University; Master of Science (M.S.) in Oceanography from Oregon State University; Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) in Science Education from Oregon State University; Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from Oregon State University.
