Stacey was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada where she taught in for 10 years before heading to teach at Saigon South International School in Vietnam for 5 years. She studied at the University of Victoria where she earned a Degree in Education with a major in Physical Education and a minor in Geography. While in Vietnam she earned her Masters Degree in International Education Administration through Endicott College.
