When a school purchases an overseas teacher job ad in one or more editions of the TIE newspaper, that school will receive a FREE overseas jobs online ad for the contracted period.

What is included in an "Teacher Job Ad Package"?
An ad package includes:- Job ads in all 5 issues of TIE.
- A FREE year-round online ad that you can change as needed.
- Year-round access to our Resume Bank with more than 6,000 resumes and photos.
- A FREE link from your ad to your web site!
- Access to all of our other online features.

What does an Individual ad include?
An individual job ad includes:- A job ad in one (1) of 5 issues of TIE.
- FREE online ad that you can edit yourself, during that contracted period.
- Access to our Resume Bank with 6,000+ resumes and photos, during contracted period.
- A FREE link from your ad to your web site, during contracted period

How do I submit an ad online?
Schools that have advertised or have had a subscription before: you already have a User ID and Password. Don’t remember them? Contact schoolads@tieonline.com.
- On the TIE home page, click on the "Advertise" button.
- Next page: click on “Purchase or Renew Job Ad”.
- Next page: log in with your User ID and Password.
- Next page: click on the box that indicates the size of the ad you wish to appear in the newspaper. Then, select the upcoming edition or an Ad Package.
- Next few pages: Enter your information/descriptions into the appropriate text boxes. Indicate your payment selection or billing arrangements and continue until you confirm your job ad purchase. Confirmation will be sent to you via email.
Schools that have never advertised before or had a group subscription:
- On the TIE home page, click on the "Advertise" button.
- Next page: click on “Purchase or Renew Job Ad” and press SUBMIT.
- Next page: log in with your User ID and Password.
- Next page: click on the button that says, “Purchase First Job Ad”.
- Next page: click on the box that indicates the size of the ad you wish to appear in the newspaper. Then, Select the issue of your choice or an Ad Package.
- Next page: A pre-selected User ID will be shown under Account Settings. Enter a Password of your choice. (Use this ID/Password to log in each time you go to your online ad.) If you forget your access codes, please contact schoolads@tieonline.com.
- Next few pages: Enter your school’s information / descriptions into the appropriate text boxes. Indicate your payment selection or arrangements and continue until you confirm your purchase. Confirmation will be sent to you via email.
To post or remove your vacancies: click on View/Edit Job Ad. You can enter as many jobs as you need. Please remove any vacancies that have been filled.

How do I edit my ad and/or update my vacancies?
Click on Edit/View Job Ad, under the Schools/Employers column. Use the edit buttons to change any portion of your ad text or vacancy.

Will the text in our online ad and our newspaper ad be the same?
It is unlikely the text would be the same. A large ad that will accommodate much more than a smaller ad.

How should we send you information we want to appear in our newspaper ad?
If you want TIE staff to design your ad:
The most important text will be taken from your online ad, along with contact information. Depending upon the ad size you select, it may be necessary to edit the text. You will be sent a copy of your ad to proof prior to publication - providing your ad info is submitted before the deadline. If you want specific wording, please send us the file in Microsoft Word via email attachment.
If you want to create/design your own ad:
1) The ad must be in the exact size you select (e.g. 2” wide x 3.75” tall, 3.75” x 3.75”, etc.).
2) Send us your ad in PDF format with ALL fonts embedded. If you are unsure about embedding fonts, we will send out instructions. Please submit these ads at least 3-5 days before a deadline to ensure the ad fits all requirements.

Can we include our logo in our print ad?
Yes, please send your logo in tiff, eps or jpg format, as an email attachment to schoolads@tieonline.com. Color logos/graphics/photos must be in CMYK, not RGB. Required resolution for color or black and white is 300 dpi. Logos downloaded from a website cannot be used. that appear in print require higher resolutions than logos on a website.
